Filesystem is NTFS, which I thought would work with Linux.Įdit 2: It couldn't mount because the file system got corrupted somehow probably didn't unplug it properly or smth. I ended up running the troubleshooter on a friend's computer through Windows10, which fixed the file system, and then it mounted in Linux no problem. The above tutorial is still helpful in figuring out how to get Linux to work with it properly in the first place. I posted the link in the OG post for the way I figured out how to mount it and make it work and all that.

There's a way to fix it on Windows 10 but not on Linux that I could find, so if you have a friend you can borrow their computer for a bit, run the troubleshooter on there and fix the files, then it should mount no problem.
